My first Gate Fold Paper Bag Mini
This was a lot of fun. I found this great tutorial, (part 2), from Laura with Follow the Paper Trail and got to work. This one is not perfect, I will make some changes to the next one I do, I have that one in process, it will be a Christmas Mini.
The paper is SU Designer Paper from last year I believe, this was the first time I've used it, forgot I had it.
I used lot of tags.
There are 2 circles' one is glued down and the other is velcroed down so it can be moved to add a pic and to view the pic.
The CS on these flaps shimmer. I used the Pearl Ex powder and alcohol and sprayed it on the CS. I love stuff the shimmers. I also used it on some of the flowers.
In the flaps I used the square tags and I also used some round tags.
I added a few beads on this page. I'm not done embellishing yet, I want to add more ribbon and some other fun stuff. I used pink felt as the binding. If you make one be sure to watch part 2 of the tutorial, Laura shows your different bidding options. I did not watch part 2 cause how hard can it be to bind it right, I have made other kinds of minis before. Boy was I wrong! I had to cut the spine out and then use the felt. So be sure to watch it!
Here are a few embellishments I made for the Christmas Mini I will be on working next. I'm still trying to come up with a Christmas card design, still have not found my stamps I want to use. I do hope they show up!
